JB Fever
The Jonas Brothers are arguably the hottest music act around. 99.9% of their fans are teenage females, including myself. It is just amazing how in a year their career has just blown up. Disney of course is a huge reason for this. The immense popularity of Disney can pretty much create a superstar out of anyone who works for them. Now don't start trash talking them, or this blog, just because you're not a fan of their music. Granted their songs are typical teenage songs; love, heartbreak, etc...but if you really watch them and listen to them sing you will see that there is some real talent there and they are down-to-earth guys who are just blessed to be where they are at this point. One can only wonder though, would they be as popular if they weren't good-looking. The answer hopefully is yes, like it was mentioned before, they are very talented; they can play instruments and they sing really well. Besides, there are a lot of musicians and bands out there that aren't exactly attractive, but people like their music and thats all that matters. They look like they have what it takes to stay around as long as the Rolling Stones. Are the Jonas Brothers here to stay? Or are their 15 minutes of fame almost up? Time can only tell...and music sales.

omg i can't stand the jonas brothers!! i feel like disney is exploiting these teen "singers" like them and miley sirius to no extent. I feel like it's so sad what disney is doing by having them sing songs about love and being together when they barely just went through pubirty and their fans are even younger! and the money these kids are making is ridiculous, i hope disney will go back to their old ways and get kids with real talent like on the mickey mouse club era...oh britney.<3
I have heard of them and seen them very briefly only on The Soup. I have never actually heard they speak or even sing. I don't really understand why people love them so much, but to each her own.

I hear them on the disney channel (I have prepubescent sister and 3 teenage cousins) they are okay, but I dunoe, maybe if i was a teenager then maybe i would care.
ive noticed that most bands nowadays only come out with 2 or 3 albums within 8 years? then they just disappear.

hmm, well I have never heard of the Jonas Brothers, but you did bring up an interesting point about image. But sadly, even with Disney the pop culture is ALL about image. But then again, Hanson wasn't horrible to look at....but what ever happened to them?
I'm not exactly their biggest fan. They are just one of those teen sensations that last for a while until they eventually die out. They are geared more towards the young preteen girls.
Yeah, I heard about those guys (I work for a gossip magazine, kind of). I finally have to check them out-- you definately got me intrigued
I'm not really familiar with Disney shows or their "talent" but my sister loves the Jonas Brothers. personally, I cant stand them and the minute they slip up they'll be out of the picture anyway.
yeahh i respect your opinion but i don't know how i feel about them. my brother is in a struggling band trying to get signed in this industry and when i see people like the jonas brothers getting so much publicity i get a little pissed off. i think they're too young to understand half the stuff they are singing about.

Really? Where did you hear that? I find that one hard to believe. But yeah I totally agree that Disney markets these performers. But that's pop culture!
